Safety
Code of Conduct:
1. Always obey the safety rules.
2. Never run in the range.
3. Whilst in the range keep noise to a minimum. Mobile phones must be switched
off / put into silent mode.
4. Keep your firing point tidy to allow others either side to use theirs.
5. No smoking on the range.
6. Know the position of the first aid kit on the wall in club room, next to the
door through to the ranges.
7. Sign log-in book before entering range.
Safety Rules:
1. Never point a gun at anyone, even if it is unloaded.
2. Never put down a loaded gun.
3. Never point the gun anywhere except down the range, even if it has
malfunctioned.
4. Never turn around if you have a problem at the firing point. Raise your
non-shooting arm and await the assistance of the Range Officer.
5. Always obey the Range Officer whilst on the range.
6. Always leave the guns in a safe condition, i.e. unloaded, and open so that it
is obvious to the Range Officer that it is safe.
7. Always ask a Range Officer if in any doubt.
8. Never move forward of the firing points unless told to do so by the Range
Officer.
